PCU RN Job in Queen Creek, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at Banner Ironwood Medical Center in Queen Creek, Arizona. This is a travel assignment with a duration of 89 days, starting November 2, 2026.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 3x12 Days
• Weekly Pay: $2,541
• Location: Banner Ironwood Medical Center, 37000 N Gantzel Rd, Queen Creek, AZ

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family; ensure timely completion
• Review diagnostic and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning based on patient-specific needs
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership; contribute to staff education, role development, and orientation
• Actively participate in improving national nursing quality indicators and outcomes

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required, with acute care experience within the past 12 months in the specialty area
• BLS certification required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
