Opportunity:

Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

• Rotating schedule working 3 shifts of 12 hours each
• 32 guaranteed hours per week
• Perform all radiographic examinations according to established protocols
• Assist Radiologist with all fluoroscopic procedures
• Operate large C-arm and O-arm under the direction of the surgeon
• Identify each patient and review exam orders for consistency with clinical diagnosis
• Review demographic information including physician name and signature, patient name, and date
• Maintain collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain department policies and procedures including confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, radiation protection standards, infection control standards, and universal precautions
• Maintain working knowledge of HIS and PACS computer systems to ensure quality patient documentation
• Monitor supply inventory and keep exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat
• Must be HIPAA compliant
• Must have working knowledge of the English language including reading, writing, and speaking
• Must possess or be able to obtain within 90 days the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements
• Experience working with all age groups required including neonatal/infant, pediatrics, adolescence, young adult, middle-aged adult, and geriatric populations
• Minimum one year of experience in radiology preferred
• Required license: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R)
• Required certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
