Radiology / Cardiology - Radiation Therapist @ CAMC Cancer Center - Beckley

<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Radiation Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 4x10 hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM<br>• 40 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Adult outpatient setting with daily caseload of 20-35 patients per day<br>• No weekend or on-call requirements<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, RT (R) (T), WV RT Board License<br>• Required skills: CBCT/kV/mV imaging, External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Prophylactic Treatments, Radiation Safety<br>• Preferred skills: CT Simulation, Tumor Localization, dose calculation, Tomo Therapy, chart check, patient/family teaching, isolation precautions<br>• Float within scope for treatments and simulations as needed<br>• Documentation systems: Mosaiq and iKnowMed<br>• EMR system: McKesson<br>• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered on case-by-case basis)<br>• Flu vaccine required unless medical exemption documented<br>• Orientation every other Thursday with 2-6 hours of non-billable modules to complete prior to start</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This specialized cancer center provides comprehensive radiation therapy services in an outpatient setting.
