Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts with an 11:00 AM start time
• Weekend schedule and on-call as needed
• Minor holidays are required
• Prior travel experience required
• No time-off requests will be approved
• Decontaminate, process, assemble, sterilize, and store surgical instrumentation and medical equipment
• Assemble case carts for surgical procedures
• Work in the Central Sterile Supply department including Sterile Processing & Distribution, Sterile Supply in the Main OR, and the Surgery Center
• Rotation to all Central Sterile and Distribution areas is required
• Must be capable of running Olympus OER washers
• Must be able to identify instruments and work while standing
• Subject to mandatory overtime on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage
• 4-5 years of experience in a hospital setting involving sterilization, decontamination, processing, assembly, storing, and distribution of surgical instrumentation, supplies, devices, and equipment required
• EMR: EPIC
• Required certification: Sterile Processing Certification (CR-CST or CBSPD required)
