<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Assess, implement, and evaluate respiratory care services for patients in both critical and non-critical care areas<br>• Provide mechanical ventilation (invasive/non-invasive) while monitoring patient parameters<br>• Perform ventilator maintenance and setting changes, monitoring patient response<br>• Deliver care/interventions with consideration to patient age, cultural, and psychosocial factors<br>• Perform medication administration via nebulizer or metered dose inhaler<br>• Provide humidity and aerosol therapy, medical gas administration, and incentive spirometry<br>• Conduct chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, and PEP therapy<br>• Assist with intubation, extubating, suctioning, and bronchoscopy procedures<br>• Respond to code blues, RIT/CRIT calls, and patient transports in timely manner<br>• Complete computer entry, verify physician orders, and provide accurate documentation<br>• Participate in mentoring new personnel and quality improvement projects<br>• Required: Graduate of accredited Respiratory Care program<br>• Required: Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RCP) or temporary letter to practice<br>• Required: CRT/RRT credential through National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)<br>• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA within 2 months of hire<br>• Required: 1 year of experience, critical care experience, and PICU experience<br>• Preferred: Willingness to work Adult ICU and Pediatrics</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive medical center providing respiratory care services across multiple patient care areas.
