Medical Lab Scientist Job in Memphis, TN

Join Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital as a Medical Lab Scientist on our night shift team. This 91-day travel assignment offers a stable 4x10 schedule working Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM, with no on-call or weekend requirements.

What You'll Do

• Perform accurate specimen testing according to established laboratory protocols and procedures
• Report test results in a timely manner and maintain compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage laboratory quality control and ensure adherence to laboratory policies
• Manage resources effectively, including productivity, supplies, instruments, and equipment

• Location: Memphis, Tennessee
• Shift: 4x10 nights, Monday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–8:30 AM
• Initial training conducted on day shift
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 24, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,436

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience; 3+ years preferred
• Blood bank experience required
• AMT Medical Laboratory Scientist certification required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Travel experience preferred; candidates with strong experience and no travel history will be considered

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of assignment placement. If your assignment includes end-of-year holidays, you must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays if all three fall within your assignment, or at least 1 of 2 holidays if only two fall within your assignment. Locals are not accepted for this position.
