Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratios: Days 1:6, Nights 1:7, Weekends 1:8
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be located more than 75 miles from facility
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Float to other units as needed
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including COPD, pneumonia, chest pain, cellulitis, and abdominal pain
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV management, blood product administration, central line care, wound care, and respiratory support equipment
• Any nursing uniform color acceptable
• Must have NY nursing license in hand to submit
• Pre-start modules required (up to 10 hours total)
• Unit has 25 beds with daily census of approximately 20 patients
