Cath Lab Technologist Job in Des Moines, IA

UnityPoint - Iowa Methodist Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Des Moines, IA. You will work a 5x8 rotating shift schedule with weekly pay of $3,225.60.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform independent scrubbing and technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Support physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Float across all Des Moines campus locations as needed
• Work on-call every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend from 7:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday
• Work 1–2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Overtime is billable after 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 24 months of experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Active ARRT or CCI/RCIS certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Travel healthcare experience within the previous 18 months
• Ability to scrub independently and proficiently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Structural heart experience
• Interventional radiology experience
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• Peripheral vascular experience
