Med Surg RN Job in Gadsden, AL

You will work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical unit at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 3, 2026.

Position Details

• Day shift: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Schedule: 3x12 (every other weekend required)
• Patient ratio: 6 to 1
• Weekly pay: $1,892.16

Requirements

• Current RN license (compact or Alabama)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner EMR experience

You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality outcomes. Your nursing judgment and communication skills will be essential as you manage a patient census of six. The day shift allows you to work during standard business hours while maintaining the intensity and engagement of acute care nursing.
