Emergency Department RN Job in Marshall, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department at CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center Marshall in Marshall, TX. This is a full-time position working 3 shifts per week on the night schedule (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), with a 91-day contract starting July 6, 2026. You will earn $1,971 per week.

In this role, you will provide routine and complex nursing care to a diverse patient population, including ED, trauma, medical, critical care, and pediatrics patients. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitor for side effects and effectiveness, and document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided. You may be floated to other ED departments within the Good Shepherd system as needed.

You will also assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education to patients, family members, and caregivers.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Current PALS certification (AHA only)
• TNCC certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty
• Moderate sedation competency
• Epic electronic health record experience
• Triage experience

You will be required to attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire and complete designated organizational entry competency validation and Emergency Department-specific competency validation.
