Telemetry RN Job in Reno, Nevada

You'll work the night shift on a 38-bed telemetry unit at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting May 18, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 3x12 hour night shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM)
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• No call requirements
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period

Your Role

You'll care for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, and post-procedure patients. Patient ratios are typically 1:4 up to 1:6 based on acuity. You'll administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips including Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro. You may float to intensive care units, medical-surgical units, or other locations based on your competency level.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS (APEX)
• Experience with open heart surgical patients preferred but not required

Pay

Weekly pay is $2,365.20.
