Physical Therapist Job in Bradenton, FL

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Bradenton, FL. You'll work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at $1,752 per week.

In this role, you will support patient care across two distinct settings:

• 28-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) with patient ratios of approximately 4 patients per day
• 383-bed acute care hospital with patient ratios of 8–12 patients per day

Your responsibilities will include conducting patient evaluations, delivering treatment sessions, developing discharge plans, and participating in team conferences and family training. You'll work in the rehabilitation services department, which operates two therapy gyms equipped with specialized equipment including Vector, LiteGait, and an ADL Apartment for functional training.

You are required to:

• Maintain an active Physical Therapist license and current BLS certification
• Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
• Complete a minimum of one weekend shift per month
• Demonstrate flexibility, strong teamwork, and a collaborative clinical approach
• Work within the Meditech EMR system

Experience with hospital and IRF settings is highly preferred. Background in stroke and neuro rehabilitation is also preferred. You'll work with adaptive devices and equipment to support patient mobility and functional goals.
