CVOR RN Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. This is a 105-week travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026, offering competitive pay at $3,066 weekly.

Schedule & Expectations

• 3x12 hour day shifts, weekend-only (Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday options)
• On-call required: typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 5–6 weeks
• Float within facility scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• All time-off requests must be finalized at submission; no changes permitted post-offer or on-site
• Holiday coverage expected based on assignment period
• Block scheduling and travel pairs not accepted

Clinical Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Georgia or Compact RN license required
• Epic charting system experience required
• 1:1 patient ratio serving adult and geriatric populations

Preferred Experience

• Community hospital background
• Trauma Level I or Level II facility exposure

Required Clinical Skills

• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair
• Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy
• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVOR procedures
• Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Lobe resection, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement
• Scrub Cardiovascular Surgery, Scrub Thoracic Surgery, Scrub Vascular Surgery
• Thoracotomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD)
