Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in La Crosse, WI

Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment beginning June 15, 2026. You will work 5x8 day shifts with 72 hours bi-weekly guaranteed, earning $3,456 weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist with neurointerventional procedures including stroke intervention, stenting, and coiling
• Support aneurysm and stroke cases with confidence and technical expertise
• Document procedures using Epic charting system
• Maintain flexibility and accountability in a team-based environment

Requirements:

• 2+ years of IR experience (5+ years preferred)
• 2+ years in special procedures—Interventional, Angio, or Cardiac Cath preferred
• Current Wisconsin Licrad, ARRT, and AHA BLS certifications
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Allied Health Professional
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to adapt to variable day schedules with on-call flexibility

Schedule and Expectations:

• One on-call night per week with 30-minute response time
• Every 6th weekend rotation with potential holiday call
• No float requirements
• 8-hour unbillable orientation provided
• Scrub colors provided

You must initiate medical compliance requirements within 48 hours of accepting the offer (24 hours for expedited start). This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, accountable, and proactive about completing assigned work within a collaborative clinical environment.
