Job Details:

• Weekend schedule to be determined with holiday coverage required if needed or scheduled
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must work at least one holiday block if scheduled: Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, or New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off accepted for the duration of the assignment, and all time off requests must be submitted at the time of profile upload
• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified body areas as requested by physician
• Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
• Move radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance
• Operate film processing equipment
• Operate mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in operating room, emergency room, or at patient's bedside
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
• Must be proficient and highly experienced with fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm
• Must have experience working with all age groups
• Minimum 1 year of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle
• Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs; no hooded sweatshirts; closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or clogs; hair worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no dangling earrings
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), New Hampshire License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) license required; temporary license available with fast turnaround for those holding an equivalent state license
• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
