Telemetry RN Job in Massena, NY

Saint Lawrence - Massena Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on the Medical-Surgical unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratios: 1:6 days, 1:7 nights, 1:8 weekends
• Weekly pay: $2,108.33

Requirements

• Current New York state RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Residence more than 50 miles from facility
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Epic charting system experience

Core Responsibilities

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with common diagnoses including COPD, pneumonia, non-specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain rule-out. Your daily work includes dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Rapid Response/Code team coordination, blood product administration, and management of central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IVs. You will administer oxygen therapy via nasal cannula, high-flow nasal cannula, and BiPAP/CPAP. Additional skills include CVA and seizure disorder management, substance withdrawal care, and non-invasive airway management. You will maintain isolation precautions and use appropriate PPE.

Facility Information

Saint Lawrence - Massena Hospital is a community hospital. You may be required to float to other units as needed. Community hospital experience is preferred. Any nursing uniform color is acceptable for scrubs.
