Infusion RN Job in Greensboro, NC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Infusion department at Cone Health – Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 5 eight-hour shifts per week, 40 hours total
• Day shifts with variable start times: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM based on staffing needs
• Block scheduling
• Weekend shifts as needed but unlikely
• $2,904 per week
• 40-hour orientation included

Your Role

• Manage patient ratios of 3 patients during day shifts
• Care for adult and geriatric populations with solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, iron deficiency, myelodysplastic syndrome, and neuro-oncology diagnoses
• Work within a daily census of 65–75 infusion patients
• Perform and assist with bone marrow aspirations, intravesicular chemotherapy for bladder cancer, and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Operate specialized equipment including Cyracom interpreter machines, blood warmers, Hoyer lifts, vein finders, and ultrasound-guided IV machines
• Use EPIC EMR

Requirements

• RN degree
• Minimum 1 year of infusion center and outpatient oncology experience
• No first-time travelers
• BLS and ONS/ONCC (Chemo) certifications required
• ACLS and OCN certifications preferred
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
