<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour day shifts with 36 guaranteed weekly hours<br>• Weekend hours as needed<br>• Float to other units as needed<br>• 1+ years of experience required<br>• Required certifications: Current RCP license in Missouri, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP<br>• Flu vaccination required for all travelers (exemptions must be client approved)<br>• Dress code: Black scrubs required<br>• Set up and operate therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators<br>• Provide emergency care including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and CPR assistance<br>• Maintain patient charts with identification and therapy information<br>• Required experience in respiratory care, emergency care, and intensive care<br>• Must have strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation<br>• Experience with respiratory equipment required<br>• Basic nursery experience is a plus<br>• Work with EPIC EMR system</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical, obstetric and pediatric services serving over 150,000 residents in the region.
