Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Richmond, VA

Join the Cardiac Cath & EP lab team at Henrico Doctors Hospital-Forest VA as an RN. This 91-day travel assignment runs 4 days per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekly pay of $2,870. You will begin August 3, 2026.

You'll work in a specialized cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology lab with a minimum of 6 staff members daily. Patient care is delivered by a 3-person team per patient. Your responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring procedures. You must demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, adjusting your approach to meet lab protocols and physician preferences.

Required Experience:

• Ablation procedures (Afib, Aflutter, VT, SVT, PVC)
• LAAO procedures (Watchman, Amulet)
• Device implants (PPM, ICD, Bi-V PPM/ICD)
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Experience:

• Loop implants and explants
• Leadless pacemaker placement
• Lead extraction procedures

Typical procedures include ablations, LAAO implants, and device implants. You will work with Philips and GE procedure tables and the GE BT22 documentation system. The lab uses Meditech EMR, with a planned transition to Expanse. Plan for a minimum of 1–2 late nights each week. You may float to the main Cath lab or Pre/Post care areas depending on experience and facility needs.

You must be able to adjust your setup and working habits to fit the lab's operational needs and physician requirements. Seal Blue scrubs are required per facility dress code.
