About this role
You will work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at MUSC Health Charleston, performing diagnostic imaging procedures across radiology and cardiology departments. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 6, 2026.
Schedule and Logistics
- 5x8 hour shifts, days only
- Start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM; end times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
- No holidays required; no on-call duties
- May be required to work Saturdays twice monthly for PET-CT scans during camera maintenance or backlog periods
- Facility may call off one shift per two weeks as a guaranteed hours provision
- No floating between service lines or sister facilities
- One-time parking fee of $20 for nights and weekends
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform PET scans, bone scans, cardiac studies, and other nuclear imaging procedures
- Work with all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Operate Siemens equipment
- Use Epic charting system
- Wear teal top with black pants
Requirements
- Allied Health Professional credential
- Minimum 1 year of experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Level I and II trauma experience preferred
- Current certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT), and SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
- Siemens equipment experience required
- Epic experience preferred
- Agency responsibility to provide radiation badge
Additional Information
- Weekly pay: $2,822.40
- Hurricane season assignment to emergency response teams may be required June through November
