Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Reno, NV

You will provide comprehensive nursing services in the cardiac catheterization lab at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. Your role includes patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families or caregivers. You will coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and support the clinical team in a fast-paced interventional environment.

Schedule and Hours

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (nights)
• 40 guaranteed weekly hours
• One night of call per week required
• One weekend of 48-hour call (Saturday and Sunday) every 5 weeks required
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period
• Schedule may vary based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• Facility may call off shifts without penalty up to 48 hours for low census per 13-week contract, including full or partial shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac catheterization lab experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience
• State of Nevada Registered Nurse license
• State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst (POCA) license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay is $3,150. This assignment is 91 days, with a start date of November 15, 2026. You may be required to float to other areas of the organization up to your competency level.
