Ultrasound Technologist Job in Santa Rosa, CA

You will work as an Ultrasound Technologist at Sutter Health Cancer Support Services - SPMF in Santa Rosa, CA. This is a 91-day travel assignment on a 5x8 evening shift, with weekly compensation of $2,876.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity to produce quality diagnostic images
• Work independently, exercising sound judgment and executing developed clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures
• Deliver accurate results in a timely manner across a variety of sonography specialties
• Build confidence and cooperation with patients, families, and healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Perform specific procedures and orient other staff to the department as needed

Position Details

• Patient population: Adults
• Patient ratio: 5 patients per day, 2 on weekends
• Average visits per day: 12
• Orientation: 40 hours

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sonography experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Current ARDMS certification
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Competency in abdominal, vascular, obstetric, breast, thyroid, renal, pelvic, and transvaginal ultrasound studies
• Experience with Doppler studies and ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures
