Job Details:

• Competently perform routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity to produce quality diagnostic images
• Work independently, exercising sound judgment and executing developed clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures
• Deliver accurate results in a timely manner across a variety of ultrasound specialties
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
• May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
• Patient ratio of 5 patients on days and 2 patients on weekends
• Approximately 12 patient visits per day
• 40 orientation hours required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Proficiency in a broad range of ultrasound skills required including abdominal, vascular, obstetric, pediatric, breast, and transvaginal procedures
