Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• 8-hour shifts; specific shift times are not listed
• Every other weekend is required with 6 weekend shifts required per contract
• No on-call requirement
• No floating requirement
• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience required
• Hospital Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Serves adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Department has approximately 3 rooms and averages approximately 8 patients per day
• Must be comfortable starting and maintaining IVs
• Experience storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials required
• Nuclear Medicine procedure experience should include a broad range of diagnostic and cardiac studies
• Gastric emptying, HIDA, and MUGA scan experience preferred
• Bone scan experience including 3-phase, limited, and whole-body studies preferred
• Lung perfusion and ventilation/perfusion studies preferred
• Renal studies with Lasix preferred
• SPECT bone imaging experience preferred
• Thyroid I-123 uptake and uptake scan experience preferred
• Myocardial exercise/rest and pharmacologic stress studies preferred
• PET experience preferred
• GE and Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(N) or CNMT/NMTCB
• PET certification/experience preferred
• Any scrub color is acceptable
