Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Float between Howard Young, Eagle River, and Tomahawk locations as needed, with floating pre-scheduled when required
• On-call requirements include one night of call per week and one weekend every 4th weekend with call back within 20 minutes; call only at Rhinelander
• Holiday rotation required
• Work in general surgery only across 5 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy room
• Perform procedures excluding neurology, spinal, and heart surgeries
• Use retractors, forceps, clamps, scissors, and needle holders selected according to planned use, type and characteristics of tissue, and size of patient
• Determine specific equipment needed per procedure
• Minimum 1+ year of surgical tech experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS; CST not required
• Scrub colors provided
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from facility
• Strong documentation skills, resilience, ability to manage change, and a social, hardworking attitude expected
