CT Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a CT Technologist for a 93-day travel assignment at Southwest — UPMC Presbyterian/Montefiore in Pittsburgh, PA. You will work a rotating 3x12 schedule with a weekly pay of $3,125.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Three 12-hour shifts per week, running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Mixed schedule also includes two 12-hour and two 8-hour shifts per week based on departmental needs
• Every other weekend or every third weekend coverage as required
• Start date: August 21, 2026
• Duration: 93 days

Role Responsibilities

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Operate complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Demonstrate proper venipuncture technique and power injector use according to departmental protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders
• Assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Review patient history and physician orders, applying specific departmental protocols for optimal imaging results
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving, and charges are accurately entered

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cardiovascular (CV) experience preferred
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• Required certifications: ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
