Med Surg RN Job in Rochester, NY

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. This is a 12-hour shift position with a rotating schedule covering days, evenings, and nights. You will be required to work every other weekend, and may have holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities as unit needs dictate.

In this role, you will provide competent patient care based on established standards under the direction of the Nurse Manager. You may assume expanded responsibilities including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties depending on unit needs and your experience level.

Position Requirements:

• Current New York RN license (NY license only accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
