MRI Technologist Job in Stony Brook, NY

You will work as an MRI Technologist at Stony Brook Medicine Stony Brook University Hospital, performing advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures and technical operations. This is a Level 2 Radiology position with an 8-hour shift.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform MRI imaging procedures using advanced equipment and technology
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Maintain MRI equipment according to facility protocols and safety standards
• Operate sophisticated MRI systems with precision and accuracy
• Collaborate with the radiology team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services
• Follow all safety protocols and equipment maintenance schedules

Position requirements:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)

This travel assignment runs for 89 days, beginning June 22, 2026. You will earn $2,766.19 per week on an 8-hour shift schedule.
