About this role
You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at CHI Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $3,254.40.
Schedule and Shift Details
You will work four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM–4:30 PM). The facility manager is open to discussing scheduling flexibility during your phone interview. In addition to your scheduled shifts, you are required to be on call 1–2 nights per week (call begins at end of shift until 6:30 AM), cover every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday end of shift through Monday 6:30 AM), and commit to 1 major holiday and holiday weekend per year. Call response time is 20 minutes. You will not float to other units.
Your Role
The facility operates 3 cath lab suites, averaging 5–10 cases per day. Your primary responsibility is scrubbing all cases tableside with the physician. You will also circulate cases as needed. You will set up sterile tables and assist with PCI, diagnostic catheterizations, device implants, peripheral and IR cases, IVC filters, coronary angiograms, interventions, STEMIs, peripheral angiograms, thrombectomies, and additional IR procedures. You must be competent in all access site management, including groin, radial, and drain care. You will work with atherectomy devices, Impella, and IABP equipment. IR procedures are performed within the cath lab.
Requirements and Credentials
You must hold an Oregon license and maintain current certifications in BLS (AHA), Radiology Technologist (RT), and either RCIS or ARRT (CI) or (CV). RCIS will be accepted in lieu of ARRT. You will be required to wear a radiation badge; you must provide your own, as the facility does not supply one. Orientation is provided by peers as a Special Procedures Tech. The facility uses MEDITECH for charting and operates McKesson and GE equipment. Scrubs are supplied by the department.
