X-Ray Technician Job in Akron, OH

You will work as an X-Ray Technician at Akron Campus, a Level 1 trauma hospital. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning July 5, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, evenings
• Every third weekend required
• Weekly pay: $2,960

Your Role

You will perform radiologic procedures in a busy Level 1 trauma environment. You will calibrate and operate radiography equipment, properly position patients, and apply or adjust restraining devices as needed. You will have the ability to perform select additional radiology procedures, such as C.T. procedures, following successful completion of facility training. You will communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital staff, demonstrating respect and understanding of patient needs and dignity.

Requirements

• Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio
• Level 1 trauma hospital experience required
• Current CPR Certification
• Ability to lift and position patients
• Proficiency with hospital and radiology computer systems and file systems
