Ultrasound Technologist Job in Durango, CO

Mercy Hospital in Durango, Colorado is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join its ultrasound department on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4 x 10-hour shifts with variable days scheduled between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general, OB/GYN, vascular, and procedural ultrasound imaging and studies
• Complete drain and biopsy ultrasounds as assigned
• Average 8–10 scans or studies per day
• Operate Phillips ultrasound equipment across a 4-scanner department
• Use Fuji EPIC PACS and EPIC charting systems
• Work independently without floating or coverage responsibilities to other units

Requirements and Schedule

• Current ARDMS certification and BLS (AHA)
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential via ARDMS
• Strong general and OB/GYN ultrasound skills required; vascular experience preferred
• Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures
• Weekend availability required
• On-call duty: 1–2 nights per week and every third weekend (on-call exceptions may apply)
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Professional colored scrubs acceptable
