Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 4x12 hour shifts (48 hours per week)
• Patient ratio of 1:6-7 utilizing team nursing model
• Weekend coverage required on rotation basis
• On-call shifts as needed
• Care for adults and geriatric patients on 45-bed unit with daily census of 30-35
• Primary focus on surgical oncology patients with medical oncology and medical-surgical overflow
• Manage patients with central lines (PAC, PICC lines, midlines)
• Perform wound care, drain management, ostomy care, and Foley catheter care
• Operate PCA pumps and assist with chemotherapy administration (ONS nurses only)
• Limited phlebotomy coverage during night shifts
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Skills include: IV START, Conscious Sedation, Administer Chemo
• Minimum 2 years recent experience required (strict requirement)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• Large hospital experience required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Cerner experience preferred
• All RTO must be included at time of submission
