X-Ray Technician Job in Arlington, VA

Virginia Hospital Center is seeking an X-Ray Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Arlington, VA. You will work day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, on a 5x8 schedule earning $2,591 weekly.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform bedside and portable X-ray procedures across multiple settings including OR, ER, and trauma units
• Execute C-arm procedures and OR cases involving spine, anterior hip, and ERCP
• Handle fluoroscopy cases including upper GI, barium swallow, and modified barium swallow studies
• Work with patient populations spanning neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Operate imaging equipment from manufacturers including GE, Fuji, Konica, Siemens, and Samsung
• Serve in outpatient, trauma, and fluoroscopy departments as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential as X-Ray Technician
• Minimum 2 years of X-ray technician experience
• Virginia Board of Medicine (VA BOM) permanent license (must be in hand or proof of application required at submission)
• ARRT registration
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with O-arm and OEC Elite C-arm equipment
• Vascular imaging experience
• Operating room skills
• EPIC electronic health record experience
• Trauma Level I or Level II facility background

This assignment runs 13 weeks and begins September 28, 2026. You will join a Level I trauma center serving diverse patient acuity and age groups.
