ED RN Job in Austin, TX

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Rotating weekends with 4 shifts per schedule
• No call requirements
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC (must have by start date), PALS, NIHSS, ENPC (must have by start date)
• Greater than 2 years of experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Work with EMR system Meditech
• Perform procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Must be a great team player who anticipates patient and department needs
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs and navy blue zip-up sweater (pullover sweatshirts not acceptable)
• Work with staffing including charge nurse coordinator, registered nurses, medics, and patient care technicians
