Cath Lab Technologist Job in Grand Junction, CO

You will work as a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. This is a 112-week travel assignment beginning June 5, 2026, offering weekly pay of $3,650.

Your Role

You will assist physicians and clinical staff in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for cardiac catheterization procedures, operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and maintaining sterile technique to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards. You will monitor patient status and communicate changes to the clinical team, document procedural information accurately and completely, and assist with patient transport, positioning, and post-procedure care as needed. You will also participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.

Schedule and Environment

You will work Monday through Friday with variable hours based on procedural volume and department needs. There are no call requirements for this position.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with cardiac catheterization experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of five years of recent cardiac catheterization laboratory experience
