Interventional Radiologist - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• 10-hour day shifts with rotating start times of 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
• 40 hours per week
• Rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities
• Assignment lengths available: 16, 20, or 26 weeks
• No float required
• Perform interventional and special radiographic procedures
• Apply considerable knowledge of physiology, anatomy, diagnostic equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety techniques and policies
• Hybrid Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures required
• Radiography Registry [R.T. (R)] by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Cardiac Interventional or Vascular Interventional registry by ARRT required, or registry eligible with obligation to obtain registry within six months
• Connecticut State license to practice radiography required
• Required certifications: ARRT Certification Verification, BLS, ACLS
• May be required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure unit coverage as part of the rotation pool
