Telemetry RN Job in Vero Beach, FL

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Observation Unit (2 East Clinical Decision Unit) in Vero Beach, Florida. This is a 26-week contract position with a start date of July 21, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 shifts (days) with 36 guaranteed hours per week, or 8/10 shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly pay: $1,533.60
• Block scheduling is not available
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of presentation

Role and Responsibilities

You will provide nursing care on a Medical/Telemetry unit and may float to all three hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition) as needed. Your responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and participation in Rapid Response and Code teams.

Required Experience and Credentials

• 18 months of telemetry and acute care experience (2 years preferred)
• PCU experience required
• Vasoactive drip experience required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification (required at time of application)
• Current ACLS certification (required at time of application)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• First-time travelers are accepted
