X-Ray Technician

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Minimum of 24 months of current X-Ray experience required
• Hospital or medical center experience prioritized
• Proficiency required with Siemens general radiography equipment and Siemens fixed equipment
• Proficiency required with Carestream portable units
• Proficiency required with GE OEC C-arms and Medtronic O-arm
• Operating room experience required, particularly with C-arms and O-arms
• Surgery fluoroscopy experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current or recent Operating Room experience required due to occasional OR cases
• Ability to support all areas of Radiology including plain film imaging, operating room exams, and portable exams
• Will float across campuses
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Experience with all age groups highly preferred
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Active Iowa radiology license highly preferred; licensing candidates with attestation to apply at time of acceptance will be considered
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA)
• Skills checklist specific to Radiology Technologist/X-Ray required
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
