<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients orally, by injection, or inhalation<br>• Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort during positioning for scans<br>• Operate imaging equipment including SPECT/CT scanners<br>• Process images of brain, thyroid, bone, heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver using computer systems<br>• Maintain detailed records of radiopharmaceutical amounts, types, and procedures<br>• Produce computer-generated images for physician interpretation<br>• Follow strict safety procedures to protect staff and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure<br>• Work with Radiant Epic Access system<br>• NH license and certification to practice nuclear medicine required<br>• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required<br>• 1 year of experience preferred<br>• Must possess excellent technical and computer skills<br>• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities required<br>• Good communication and interpersonal skills essential<br>• Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching<br>• Lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds frequently, occasionally up to 50 pounds<br>• Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility provides comprehensive nuclear medicine services with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and technology.
