Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Peds Adult

Job Details:

• Work as Registered Nurse for Med-Surg Unit (MSU) caring for adult geriatric and pediatric patients
• 12-hour day shifts with flexibility required for other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Excellent staffing ratios: Non-COVID patients typically 4:1 (max 5:1), COVID patients typically 2:1 (max 3:1)
• Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients
• Three years of med-surg experience and one year pediatric experience required
• Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Work on 20-bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics
• May be assigned to help cover Flu Immunization clinics as needed
• Expected to attend staff meetings
• Orientation occurs on Mondays only
• May occasionally float to other qualified departments with patient load or task-oriented duties
• Floating assignments could include answering call lights, phones, or taking patient assignments if experienced and competent
