Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts working 36 hours per week
• Night shift from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Must maintain current Washington State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Strong OB (obstetrics) experience required
• Must be a team player and function with minimum supervision once oriented
• Any requested time off (RTO) needs pre-approval and will be added to the end of contract
• Provide, coordinate, and direct individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients
• Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Practice within the scope of practice of a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Prefer one year of current acute care experience but may consider new graduates
• Physical requirements include ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist and wheelchair to bed level
• Must be able to lift 5 pounds overhead and pull 50 pounds from stretcher to bed
• Ability to push 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Auditory ability to perform procedures and take accurate blood pressures
• Vision adequate to observe patients and perform charting procedures
