Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 evening/night rotation with shift times of 1300-2330 and 1900-0730
• 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• ASAP start required
• ICU experience required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam achieving at least 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and Pre-post experience required
• CERNER charting system experience required
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Call required: possibly 5-6 per six week period for day/evening shifts
• Float required to cover ICU
• 2 weekends per 6 weeks required
• Scrubs provided
• Care for patients across all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle various surgical specialties including Ortho, GYN, Vascular, ENT, Endoscopy, Cysto, Colorectal, Pediatric Dental, Breast, and Neuro/Spine procedures
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• Two supervisor references required
