OR RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the operating room at OU Health in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position offers a travel contract of 89 days, starting June 15, 2026. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, earning $2,264.40 weekly.

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in surgical settings before, during, and after procedures
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient surgical care
• Maintain sterile field and sterile technique throughout all surgical cases
• Manage and prepare surgical equipment and instruments according to facility protocol
• Monitor patient vital signs and physiological condition during surgery
• Prepare operating rooms for scheduled surgical procedures
• Document patient care activities, surgical events, and nursing interventions in the medical record
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, surgical technicians, and other multidisciplinary team members

You will be expected to maintain current knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and practices. As a travel nurse, you will integrate into the existing surgical team and adapt to facility-specific protocols and preferences. Night shift work requires flexibility and the ability to maintain focus during overnight hours.

This position is ideal for an RN with operating room experience or strong interest in perioperative nursing. Your registered nurse license must be valid in the state of Oklahoma.
