Telemetry RN Job in Highlands, NC

Join Highlands-Cashiers Hospital as a Telemetry RN on a 24-bed acute care unit serving a diverse patient population including geriatric and swing bed rehabilitation patients. This is a travel nursing position offering stability and meaningful work in a close-knit healthcare community.

Position Details

• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (6:45 PM–7:15 AM)
• Duration: 91 days, starting February 2, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,839.60
• Patient ratios: 6–7:1
• Float assignments are rare, providing consistent unit placement

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care on a telemetry unit with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Care for geriatric and rehabilitation patients requiring inpatient support
• Perform minor procedures and advanced wound care
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records for documentation
• Work with standard medical and surgical equipment
• Provide high-touch service to an affluent community

Unit Environment

You'll work in an environment with strong teamwork and excellent unit culture. Please note: there is no unit secretary, tech, or additional RN support when tech coverage is unavailable. You'll be expected to manage these responsibilities independently as needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and CPI certifications (preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with geriatric care or inpatient rehabilitation
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities

Dress Code

Navy scrubs or navy top with white bottoms.
