Occupational Therapist Job in San Ramon, CA

You will provide occupational therapy services in a home health setting across assigned county territories in the Oakland and Fremont areas, including Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont, Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, and Union City.

Position Details

• Home health occupational therapy role with new graduates welcome
• Two employment options: guaranteed hours or non-guaranteed hours
• Guaranteed hours option requires 27 points per week with a 36-hour guarantee; you must be willing to travel outside your assigned area or work weekends
• Non-guaranteed hours option includes weekend coverage requirements and potential travel outside the service area
• Payment made on a per-visit basis; OASIS recertification, routine visits, evaluations, discharges, and follow-ups each equal 1 point = 1.33 hours
• Your rate covers drive and travel time, visit time, documentation time, and phone calls to patients and doctors
• You must be willing to see COVID-positive and COVID PUI patients

Required Credentials

• Current California OT License
• BLS certification
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance and auto registration
• TB screening (annual)
• MMR, Varicella, and HepB vaccinations
• TDap (valid for 10 years)
• Flu vaccination (annual)
• Drug screen and physical exam
