ICU Registered Nurse Job in Alexander City, AL

Russell Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in our Intensive Care Unit. You will work the night shift, providing direct patient care in a dynamic critical care environment.

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, starting June 22, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,177.28

Requirements:

• Current Alabama State or Compact RN license at time of submission
• 1–2 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management, drip management, IABP, and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Valid references
• Copy of certifications required at application

What You Need to Know:

• You will work within our Meditech Expanse EMR system
• No floating to other facilities required; your work stays within Russell Medical Center
• The 50-mile radius rule applies—only candidates living outside this radius are eligible
• Previous travel healthcare experience is preferred but not required
