Job Details:

• Work 8-hour PM shifts from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week (no guaranteed hours during first 2 weeks of contract)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No on-call or callback responsibilities
• Float to units with alike skillset as needed
• Work attire is Ceil Blue scrubs
• EMR system: EPIC
• Required certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) must be attached upon submittal
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with Level I or II Trauma experience
• Required education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Holiday rotation as needed
• Prepare, assemble, maintain, and transport surgical trays, instruments, and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing
• Equipment used includes steam autoclaves, plasma sterilizers, peracetic acid sterilizers, biological incubators, mechanical automated instrumentation washers and cart washers, instrumentation management software, materials requirements supply chain software, and electronic email
• May be exposed to occupational hazards such as blood-borne pathogens, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, and hazardous materials
• Moderate to extreme physical effort required including walking, standing, squatting, reaching, pushing up to 100 lbs., pulling, and lifting materials and equipment over 50 lbs.
