Job Details:

• Work overnight shifts Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Take one call shift per month
• Operate standard and portable radiology equipment to perform radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies
• Perform specialized imaging procedures including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastro-intestinal series, and body section radiography
• Assist physicians with specialized imaging procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and film output problems
• Act as resource and preceptor for other radiographers and students
• Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for assigned area
• May participate in training programs for CT, MRI, or Special Procedures
• Assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages
• Communicate technical information to patients and families in understandable terms
• Graduate of CAAHEP accredited cardiovascular program OR JRCERT accredited radiologic technology program required
• ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI credentials required upon hire
• AHA BLS certification required
• One year full-time experience as certified radiologic technology professional preferred
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Strong computer skills and interpersonal communication abilities required
