Telemetry RN Job in Clinton, MD

Join MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Telemetry unit. This 91-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to provide specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour day shifts weekly, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Patient ratio of 5–6 patients per shift
• Every other weekend required
• Float within your skillset as needed
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Weekly pay: $1,969.92
• Start date: June 29, 2026

Clinical Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; manage dysrhythmias
• Care for patients with stroke/TIA, pneumonia, diabetes mellitus, ESRD, renal failure, and PE/DVT
• Administer blood products and manage PICC lines
• Perform wound care and peritoneal dialysis procedures
• Collaborate with IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Charge nurse experience required
• At least 1 completed travel assignment
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, wound care, and PICC line management
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
