ICU RN Job in Nashville, TN

You'll work as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This is a 91-day travel contract starting June 22, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU setting with typical patient ratios of 2:1, though ratios may vary to 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing needs
• Assist with advanced procedures including central line insertion, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions
• Work with specialized equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
• Use the Meditech documentation system for patient records
• Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members
• Collaborate with unit secretary (available during dayshift) and other nursing staff

Schedule and Requirements

• Complete your schedule in 4-week increments with some self-scheduling flexibility; manager may adjust shifts to balance coverage
• Meet a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• As contract labor, you may be floated to med/surg units when needed
• Active RN license and ICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Wear navy scrubs (tops and bottoms)

Compensation

You'll earn $1,839.60 per week. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience in a specialized ICU environment while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing.
