Special Procedures Technologist in Columbus, GA

Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus seeks an Allied Health Professional Special Procedures Technologist for interventional radiology. This is a travel position requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and prior travel work.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days
• Duration: 84 days
• Start Date: June 22, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,678.40

Clinical Environment:

You will work in a 4-room interventional radiology department serving an average daily census of 25 patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Your scope includes angiography, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, PICC line management, and specialized interventional procedures. You may float within the facility as needed based on clinical demands and your scope of practice.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Weekend call coverage only (no weekend floor shifts)
• 1/4 call coverage responsibility during contract period
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Must work facility holidays occurring during assignment

Required Credentials and Experience:

• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• ARRT R (Radiologic Technologist) certification
• ARRT VI (Vascular Interventional) certification
• Epic charting system experience required

Onboarding and Compliance:

All compliance requirements must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. Full compliance documentation is due by Tuesday prior to your start date. Full compliance is required to begin on schedule; delays result in a 2-week pushback. You will also complete a clinical screening process for final approval.
